Get traditional home entertainment with a smart DVD player

Although streaming and other on-demand services have become the big thing when it comes to movies and series, there are still many who enjoy a good DVD every now and then.

Before the many streaming services, DVDs were indeed the big deal, and therefore there are many people who still have a lot of old DVDs lying around.

To play these, you of course need a DVD player, and although they are significantly less popular today, it has certainly not slowed down the development of these machines.

A movie night with a good DVD from the archives and an accompanying cheap DVD machine provides a completely authentic movie experience, as it was before the many streaming services came into existence.

If you are one of those who find it very difficult to choose in this new vast world of movies and series, it can actually be surprisingly relaxing just to pick one of the DVDs you have lying around, to limit the selection.

It can be nearly impossible to choose from the many thousands of movies from the various streaming services, but with DVDs you have a selection that you have personally acquired, thus significantly fewer options to go through.

Additionally, you can give children a traditional movie experience, and provide them the great satisfaction of inserting the disc into the machine and playing it in the traditional way.

DVD players with HDMI - Get the optimal resolution

Most DVD players today have access to HDMI, but for some years back this was not a given.

HDMI is very common today, but when DVD players were very popular, it was certainly not something all DVD machines had access to.

With HDMI, you gain access to amazing 1080p resolution, also known as High-Definition or HD, which provides the optimal experience when you and your family or friends watch DVD movies.

This, combined with a good television, can deliver a completely fantastic movie experience, which is a lovely fresh breath compared to the usual streaming setup that most people use daily.

You can also connect your television to a system or a set of speakers to achieve a near-cinema-like experience with full surround sound in top quality.

If you have old CDs lying around, you can also get a DVD player that enables you to play these through the speakers in your television setup.

In other words, DVD players are certainly not out of fashion yet, and they have several advantages compared to streaming services, not to mention the large selection, of course.

Dust off your old collection of DVDs and enjoy them in high resolution on a modern DVD player to get that lovely feeling of nostalgia and tradition.

If you want the best movie experience, we recommend that you look at a Blu-ray player instead of a DVD player.

Find a good and cheap DVD player at avXperten

At avXperten, we have a wide selection of different types of DVD players.

Ranging from the very traditional ones that just use a SCART connector to the more modern ones that have access to 1080p resolution via an HDMI cable.

As DVD players are not as popular as they once were, you can enjoy incredibly low prices, and today you can get a DVD player that costs a fraction of what they used to cost, and they are even better on top of that.

For the best experience, we suggest investing in a DVD player with HDMI input, as this provides the optimal resolution for your DVD movies.
