Charging cable for electric cars
Deltaco charging cable for electric cars EV-3203 fits all vehicles with type 2 plug (see a list further down). The cable is 3 meters long.
This Type 2 to Type 2 cable is suitable for Mode 3 charging (with public charger or in charging box in your own carport). The inlet socket in the charging station must be Type 2 and the charging socket in the car must be Type 2.
22 kW charging power
The cable has a charging capacity of up to 22 kW. The charging cable has silver-plated connections that ensure good contact and long lifespan. Equipped with dust protection to protect against dust, dirt, and moisture during storage.
The cable is made of a TPE material that provides good resistance to oil, wear, and UV light. The cable is also flexible in cold.
Type 2 charging plug is now standard in the EU. See further down which car brands use Type 2 charging cables.
Safe Charging
Car charging is monitored with the help of a two-way communication between the car and the charger. When the cable is connected to the car, a self-test is performed to ensure that the cable is correctly connected and that the car is ready to receive current before charging starts and the cable is mechanically locked, protecting against both theft and unauthorized use during charging.
After charging, you must unlock the car so that the mechanical lock opens and remove the cable from the car, so it disconnects from the charger.
Note: The cable must not be repaired or spliced, as this may affect its safety and function.

Always follow safety authority guidelines
The Danish Safety Authority, the Electrical Safety Agency in Sweden, DSB in Norway, and Tukes in Finland, all advise against regular charging using standard wall sockets.
The general recommendations are, however, that old or faulty electrical circuits in properties can cause high loads which may lead to fire. Therefore, it is ALWAYS important to have an electrician check the electrical installation before using it for charging an electric car.
The general recommendation, therefore, is that standard wall sockets (Schuko) are not suitable for regular charging of electric cars. If you want to charge on a standard socket, you must ensure that there is no other electrical consumption on the electrical circuit apart from the electric car. Otherwise, it may lead to overload.
