Cables and adapters to get picture on your TV

Here you will find everything you need to get picture on your TV. We have a large selection of the most common cables, from HDMI to DisplayPort cables. New types of cables and connectors are always being introduced, and new needs arise, it can quickly become an expensive pleasure to keep up. Therefore, we also have a wide selection of adapter cables and adapter connectors. From HDMI to VGA connectors to DisplayPort to DVI connectors. We particularly have many older types of adapter connectors, so you can be sure to always find an adapter that fits your TV, even if you have an old TV. Therefore, you will find a large selection of older VGA and Scart connectors with us.

In addition to the cables, you may also need a satellite receiver. Or perhaps a DVB-C or DVB-T box, so you can play TV signals. We have all the cables you need to make a good antenna installation or cables to set up a satellite dish or a camping antenna. We also sell professional equipment, custom solutions, and smart accessories that make the installation a breeze.

Everything for picture cables

There are many different types of picture cables with different types of connectors and technologies, but common to them all is that they transfer video signals between a player and a screen. This could be, for example, a DVD player to a television or a computer to a projector.

We carry pre-assembled cables in many categories, but we also carry cables by the meter, so you can buy just the length you need and make your own picture cables if you prefer that over buying ready-made cables. You can find cables for older technologies or newer technologies that give you digital picture and sound in one cable.

Classic Phono cables

Under Phono cables, you will find standard phono cables, which consist of two audio cables and one video cable, which naturally also comes in different qualities and lengths, as well as component cables that are used for high-end equipment such as a top-class DVD player and an extra good TV.

Component cables consist of three cables that transfer picture information in the same manner as an RGB cable. However, the difference is that component cables transfer a compressed RGB signal, without loss of quality, with an integrated sync signal as opposed to RGB, which uses separate sync.

Quality DVI cables

Under DVI cables, you will find DVI to component cables and DVI to VGA cables.
DVI to component cables make it possible to connect, for example, a DVD player with component output to a television with DVI input. You get better quality by using a DVI to component cable than if you use an adapter connector.

DVI to VGA cables can solve the problem if, for example, your computer has VGA output and your projector has DVI input. Screens and computers do not always have the same connection options, and this cable will be a good solution. Common for both cable types is that they only transfer picture, not sound, so you should be aware of this when buying DVI to component or DVI to VGA cables.

BNC cables

Under BNC cables, you will find standard BNC cables, BNC cables with power, as well as BNC to Composite and BNC to RCA cables.

Standard BNC cables are used to connect, for example, a camera to a recorder or a screen. All BNC cables come with mounted BNC connectors and are available in different lengths. BNC cables with power are used to connect professional equipment such as cameras, screens, or similar together, and the cable has both BNC connectors and power connectors mounted, so you don’t need to do anything but connect the cable to your equipment. They are also available in different lengths.

BNC to Composite cables can be used to connect surveillance cameras to a screen, and the advantage of using a BNC to Composite cable is that you avoid having to use an adapter, and it does not affect the quality to use this cable.
BNC to RCA cable can be used in cases where you want to use a BNC cable instead of a phono RCA cable. The cables are available in different lengths, allowing you to place your equipment where you need it most.

Composite cables

Under Composite cables, you will find standard composite cables in various lengths and a composite splitter.
Composite cables are used to transfer video from, for example, a computer to a TV screen. The signal is analog, and there is no audio included in the cable, so if you also need to transfer audio, you will also need to get an audio cable. A Composite splitter can transfer the video signal from, for example, a DVD player to multiple screens. The splitter has a built-in amplifier that ensures that the video signal does not lose strength when distributed to several screens at once.

Scart cables

Under Scart cables, we have Scart to component cables and Scart to VGA cables.
Scart to component cables are used in cases where, for example, your DVD player is older than your television. If the DVD player does not have a Scart output, it will at least have a component output, and a Scart to component cable is the solution to get your television and your older DVD player to communicate.
Scart to VGA is used when you have two devices that do not have the same connector, such as a video machine and a screen. However, you should be aware that a Scart to VGA cable can only be used if the device with the VGA connector supports composite/CVBS.

S-Video cables

Under S-Video cables, you will find standard S-Video cables and S-Video to Composite cables.
S-Video cables can be used to connect, for example, a DVD player to a television, and they provide a better signal than composite cables.
S-Video to Composite cables are designed to connect two devices that have S-Video and Composite inputs, and would not normally be able to communicate with each other. The cable converts Composite to S-Video and thus enables you to connect a computer with an S-Video port to a television with a Composite input.

Lots of picture cables

At avXperten.dk, you will also find picture cables by the meter, as well as minijack video cables.
Picture cables by the meter are for those who know how to make their own cables, and it can make good sense if you need a fixed cable of a specific length to make them yourself.
You can get both Composite, Component, S-Video, Scart, VGA, and HDMI cables. All our cables are of good quality, and you can choose between several different qualities, depending on what you need. A minijack video cable transmits audio and video in the same connector. Unlike standard minijack connectors, a minijack video connector has 3 rings. The four areas of the connector transmit stereo audio and video, respectively.
You can also get a minijack cable with phono connectors in one and the same cable, so you can use it to transfer audio from, for example, an MP3 player to a computer or a system with minijack output. Minijack video cables are available in different lengths, some with angled minijack connectors, making them easier to connect at the back of, for example, a computer.
No matter which type of picture cables you choose, you can be sure that we offer quality cables at a reasonable price, and you can, of course, also choose to buy high-end cables that give you extra quality for your money.
