That’s why it’s important to use a cover for iPhone

An iPhone, like all other phones, is not always the most robust device.

If you drop your iPhone on the floor, there is a risk that the screen or edges of the phone will break.

That’s why incredibly many choose to install a protective cover on their iPhone, which helps protect the phone.

This ensures a more robust iPhone that can withstand significantly more falls, shocks, etc.

A cover for your iPhone primarily protects the back and edges of the phone, and you should still add a tempered glass to the phone screen itself to ensure it is completely protected.

If you do both of these things, you will have an incredibly robust iPhone that can withstand most drops from normal heights.

9 Important things to consider before buying an iPhone cover

Before you buy a new iPhone cover, there are actually several considerations you should take.

It’s not that straightforward to find the perfect cover, and therefore it’s an advantage to read our little buying guide below.

#2 - Material of your iPhone cover

The next thing you should consider is the material your cover is made of.

There are many options, and it largely depends on the feel when you hold your iPhone.

The different materials are indeed very different in their surface, and not everyone prefers the same texture.

Here are some examples of materials iPhone covers can be made from:

  • Rubber. Regular rubber is a perfect material for covers. It is smooth, flexible, and ensures, among other things, protection against falls and that your iPhone doesn’t slip out of your pocket when you sit down.
  • PU leather (synthetic leather). PU leather, also called “synthetic leather,” is produced from something called cow hides. A protective layer of Polyurethane (PU) is added that protects it and gives it a beautiful appearance.
  • Microfiber. Just like we know from fabric, and for example cloths, microfiber is often used on the inside of covers for iPhones. This creates an incredibly soft shell around your iPhone, which is extremely shock-absorbing. This material is often combined with other materials listed here, and is primarily found on the inside of covers.
  • Silicone. A silicone cover is very similar to a regular rubber cover and is typically a very soft and flexible cover. The elastic composition creates an incredibly shock-absorbing cover that can withstand most falls.
  • TPU. TPU stands for “thermoplastic polyurethane” and is often used for transparent covers in hard plastic. It is often combined with an outline of, for example, silicone or rubber, to have a soft surface but with a robust interior.
  • Composite. Composite, or “komposite” in Danish, is a material created from a variety of different materials. The surface is typically very smooth, and the materials are incredibly robust and durable. This type of cover often lasts a long time and is extremely effective at protecting your iPhone from falls.
  • Plant fiber. If you want an environmentally friendly solution for your iPhone cover, this type is the way to go. It decomposes over time without a negative impact on the environment. However, there is the “catch” that this cover typically only lasts for a maximum of 3 months, after which it begins to decompose itself.

The type of material a cover is made of will always be stated in our product description.

#3 - What design and color should your iPhone cover have?

Something that is important to get the right cover is, of course, to choose a cover that aligns with your visual taste.

A cover allows you to give your iPhone new life and adds a personal touch that reflects your preferred design and color.

In our selection, we have a wide range of different colors, such as:

  • Black
  • White
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Orange
  • Pink
  • Red
  • Gray

These different colors also come in a plethora of shades, so you can get the exact color you prefer.

The designs you find are also very diverse, where some types of covers completely change the phone's look, while others try as much as possible to preserve the original Apple expression.

#4 - iPhone flip cover

You have undoubtedly seen a flip cover on many people's iPhones, and there is actually good reason for that.

A flip cover envelops the whole phone when closed, making them one of the most secure covers.

Both the back and the screen are covered, which significantly reduces the risk of damage.

The only downside to this type of cover is that they often take up a bit more space around your iPhone than other models, which for some may mean they do not fit as well in the pocket as usual.

#5 - iPhone cover with card holder

An incredibly smart solution for those tired of having to carry a wallet, phone, keys, and all sorts of other things when heading out the door is a cover with a card holder.

This solution combines a wallet with a cover, allowing you to store various personal credit cards, driver's licenses, and cash in your cover.

This way, you can leave your wallet at home and just take the essential cards with you when you go out.

This saves you a lot of hassle in keeping track of your wallet and ensures that you always have your cards right at hand.

#6 - Waterproof cover for iPhone

A waterproof cover for your iPhone unfortunately is not entirely as one would think it is at the current time.

There are indeed no “normal” covers that are completely waterproof for your iPhone; rather, you get more of a bag-like solution if you want to use your iPhone in water.

This small plastic bag allows you to use your iPhone normally, right in the swimming pool or in the bathtub.

It typically also comes with a wrist strap so it won’t be carried away by the current if you let go of it.

#7 - Transparent cover for iPhone

If you actually prefer the way your iPhone normally looks and don’t want to ruin this look with a cover, you should choose a transparent cover for your iPhone.

This type of cover still protects your phone but is transparent so the original design doesn’t get lost.

In other words, you maintain the completely original Apple design, and at the same time protect the phone from damage.

This type of cover is typically made from hard plastic and costs approximately the same as regular rubber/silicone covers.

#8 - Biodegradable iPhone cover - the environmentally friendly solution

If you are environmentally conscious and want to use a cover that has no negative impact on the environment, you should consider one of our smart biodegradable covers.

A biodegradable iPhone cover will automatically begin to decompose after about 90 days.

This ensures that the cover cannot pollute nature, as it merely decomposes naturally.

This type of cover is typically made from various plant materials such as bamboo, coffee plants, and other strong plant fibers.

#9 - iPhone cover for wireless/MagSafe charging

Wireless charging has increasingly become widespread and is the preferred method of charging for many.

You can simply place the phone on a charger, and without needing to plug in a cable, your phone will automatically charge.

However, you should be aware that not all covers are compatible with MagSafe/Qi charging if they are too thick.

This can especially be the case with very robust flip covers in leather, so you should always consider whether you want to use wireless charging or not when choosing this type of cover.

There are also covers made specifically for MagSafe, so you are 100% sure that your cover is compatible with the smart MagSafe charging method.

Which iPhone cover is best? Choose the perfect cover for your needs

It would be easy if one could just say that a specific cover is the best for everyone.

Unfortunately, that is not the case, as the many different covers, besides being protective, also meet many other needs for iPhone owners.

They are largely a symbol that many use to make their iPhone more personal and to give it a touch of their own taste and preferences.

Furthermore, the functionality itself varies greatly across the many different models.

Some want, for example, a cover that can hold their credit cards, while others merely want a smaller cover that is hardly noticeable.

The choice is ultimately up to you, and what is best for you you must assess based on our buying guide above.

If you follow the considerations presented, you will undoubtedly end up with the best iPhone cover for your specific needs.

ATTENTION! Your order is only binding, when we have confirmed your order.
