Installing your speakers in a good way is quite easy and simple. Once you have chosen the right position for your speakers, it is easy and quick to mount our brackets, and they can also be moved around again if the living room needs to be rearranged. The placement of the speakers can complete the sound and picture experience, allowing you to fully utilize and enjoy your speakers. Mounting your audio equipment on the wall also creates more space and air for other furniture on the floor. With a speaker mount, you can give your beautiful speakers the final touch, so the look is sleek and streamlined, leaving you to simply enjoy the excellent sound. Our speaker mounts are universal, meaning they fit many different types of speakers. There is also variation in how the mount is installed; some need to be screwed into the wood at the back of the speaker, while others have to be screwed into the thread of the speaker.
Where is the best placement for my speakers?
In our selection of speaker mounts, there are many ways and variations to mount your speakers. They can be placed on the wall, hung from the ceiling, or stand on a stand on the floor. It is entirely up to you to play with the idea and test which placement will suit your speaker system and the room it’s in best, as well as which placement highlights the sound best. With a speaker mount, you can hang your speakers at exactly the height and angle that provides the best sound. This makes it very easy for you to place your speakers in the perfect spot. Our speaker mounts also have the feature that they can pivot. Once your speakers are mounted with a speaker mount, they can be turned and adjusted to exactly the direction and angle they need to be, so you can achieve the optimal sound experience. Many have good experience placing their speakers in every corner of the room, because this way the sound from the speakers can reach throughout the space and at ear level. When they hang down from the ceiling or in a corner, they are more securely positioned as they are out of reach. This prevents people from bumping into them, spilling on them, or causing other damages. A rule of thumb for speaker placement is the equilateral triangle; meaning your distance to each speaker should be equal to the distance between the speakers. However, before placing your speakers, always sit in a good chair and listen from different spots and angles to find where the best sound comes from. It is crucial to consider the size and furnishings of the room and, of course, the characteristics of the speakers.
Benefits of using speaker mounts
Another advantage of using a speaker mount is that the functions of the speaker are enhanced. For instance, a speaker does not fare well when positioned too closely against a wall, but it can be placed close, as this does not distort the bass. This often becomes a problem in furnishing, but with a speaker mount, it’s easily solved as the mount creates some space between the speaker and the wall. Similarly, a speaker should ideally be at ear level to provide the best sound. However, without a mount, speakers are often placed on the floor, which is a shame. Again, a mount would be a smart and functional solution to get the speakers up to the right listening height.
