AA batteries

AA batteries are a very common type of battery used in many different forms of electronics. There are several different types, including both Alkaline and Lithium batteries. They both have different good properties, which we will discuss later. Each battery may fall under different designations, but AA is the most common term, and the one you will most often see on products that use batteries. There are several different types of batteries labeled with A. The AA's indicate the size of the battery. Whether you choose an alkaline or a lithium battery, it will always fit in products that require AA batteries. This means they are always 50.5 mm high and 14.5 mm in diameter.

AA Lithium batteries

Lithium batteries are very durable batteries that you will enjoy for many years to come. They do not weigh as much as Alkaline batteries. If you are looking for batteries to take on a hiking trip, they are a good choice for you. They can withstand even very low temperatures, which also makes them very useful for things you have outside. This could be bike lights that need to withstand the cold in winter. AA Alkaline batteries

Alkaline batteries are probably one of the most well-known types of batteries here at home. They are very good at holding power for a long time. If you have a product that does not use much battery but obviously needs a little, it might be a good idea to use an Alkaline battery for it. This could be for a digital alarm clock that just sits there without you doing anything to make it use power. Alkaline batteries are not rechargeable. This means you have to dispose of them properly when you have used them up. Although they do not hold power as long as lithium batteries, you will often still enjoy them for several years – of course depending on how much you use the device they are in. This could be a remote control, an mp3 player, or similar.

Smart to always have a pack of AA batteries on hand

If you want to ensure that you can always put AA batteries in your devices, it is a good idea to always have batteries at home. That way, it is easy and quick to replace them. It can also be a good idea to have some packs of different batteries when you are hosting a children’s birthday party. Many toys require batteries, and if your child wants to start playing with it right away, it is important that you have some AA batteries to put in. You don’t have to be afraid that your AA batteries will leak while they are sitting in the drawer. Both alkaline batteries and lithium batteries have very little self-discharge. This means that an alkaline battery can last about seven years when it is just sitting in the drawer, while a lithium battery can last 20 years while it is in the drawer. If you want to increase the lifespan, or capacity, as it is also called, it is a good idea to put the batteries in the freezer in a waterproof container. This helps them to discharge more slowly.

Bring a pack of AA batteries on vacation

Many of the products we use on vacation use batteries. Therefore, it is a good idea to bring a pack of AA batteries with you. That way, you can ensure that, for example, your camera and mp3 player do not run out of power. It is unfortunate if you have to spend your vacation running around looking for the right batteries for your devices. The batteries can very well handle being transported in different ways. So it is a good option for you.

Dispose of the battery properly when the charge is used up

A battery works by sending electrons through the device it is in. When it no longer has any charge, it cannot send the electrons out, and we say that it is used up.
