Rack shelves and drawers
All our rack shelves fit 19 inch rack cabinets. The selection is very extensive, so you easily find the sizes that suit your project of making your own rack cabinet. The shelves are - regardless of size - made for a very large load, so you will not experience problems with shelves where you are in doubt about the load capacity.
We have many different fixed shelves, but you will also find several variants with pull-out options, if desired.
The shelves occupy one or two units in the rack cabinet, and the general load capacity is between 15 and 60 kg. The pull-out shelves also take up one or two units and can be pulled out about 20 cm, so you have easy access to the units that you need to reach often.
Pull-out drawers for your rack cabinet are a great convenience. Here you can easily and securely store CDs, extra cables, plugs, and other important equipment. The drawers take up two or three units and provide an elegant solution if you have unused space in your rack cabinet.
Additionally, the drawers can be locked, so unauthorized and small fingers cannot get to tamper with the equipment.
Cover panels and rack screws
Cover panels for your rack cabinet have several functions. First, the panels secure the cabinet by shielding against accidental access to cables and similar items, and second, they keep dust out of the cabinet. This is a great advantage, as a mounted rack cabinet is not easy to clean.
Rack panels also ensure a neat and stylish appearance for your rack cabinet, so it doesn’t appear unfinished with empty holes.
The cover panels can cover 1, 2, 3, or 4 units, so you can easily find the panel that completes the rack cabinet you are making.
A neat and professional appearance is also ensured by using the right rack screws. In our range, you will find several different models, all of which are quality screws designed for good strength and durability.
In the same selection, you will also find mounting kits for connecting two rack cabinets, so they are tightened together and stand solidly.
Power strips and cable fastening
It is impossible to make a rack cabinet without a sensible power strip. All our models are designed for mounting in a 19 inch rack cabinet and come in many different versions and numbers of power outlets.
Some models have Danish plugs and DK outlets, while others have EU plugs and Schuko outlets, so we have power strips that fit all conceivable combinations of equipment.
We also carry models with built-in ammeters. This way, you can always keep track of the power consumption, so you do not encounter your power relay suddenly cutting off when you least expect it.
Your cables should be secured, so you avoid them being pinched and damaged. With cable ducts or cable hangers, you can mount your cables so that they both look neat, you have a great overview, and safety is top-notch.
Finally, you can install a cable entry panel at the top of your rack cabinet. The cables are routed through some brushes that keep dust out of the rack cabinet and give a professional expression.
Fan package
Switches, patch panels, and other 19 inch devices in your rack cabinet generate a lot of heat, which makes it necessary to ensure adequate cooling to avoid overheating. This can advantageously be done by installing a fan package in the rack cabinet.
Fan packages typically feature digital temperature control, allowing you to select at which temperature the fan should start. The temperature is measured and kept constant. A warning can be set to sound if the temperature in the rack cabinet exceeds a pre-chosen temperature.
Wheels for rack cabinet
If you need to move your rack cabinet around for various tasks - or if you just need to access the back of the rack cabinet often, it will be a great advantage to install wheels under your rack cabinet.
In our selection, you will find wheels that are specially designed to be mounted on a 19 inch rack cabinet. The wheels come in various heights and can be delivered with or without a locking mechanism as desired. Remember when ordering that you need to order four pieces, as the wheels are not packed in sets of 4. 4 wheels are available at a very reasonable price - especially considering the increased flexibility they provide - and you avoid back injuries when the rack cabinet needs to be lifted out, as well as ugly scratch marks on the flooring.
Wall-mounted rack panel
In situations where you do not need a whole rack cabinet, the ideal solution may be a wall-mounted rack panel. This is a mini version of a rack cabinet, and the models in our selection can accommodate between 2 and 6 units. This means that the wall-mounted rack panel can hold up to six devices - including switches, patch panels, and other lightweight 19 inch devices.
A wall-mounted rack panel is both a discreet and professional solution when there is no need - or space - for a larger rack cabinet. Often, the need for a rack cabinet is present, but the floor space does not allow it. Here, one or more wall-mounted rack panels can be the optimal solution, as you achieve the same possibilities that you have with a rack cabinet, but can place the devices more discreetly on an empty wall.
